I really tried not to double up on songs, but this one is the only song that makes me feel guilty. As I said before, this song makes me feel better about loving MCR, and Gerard, because it reminds me that they are still great people, great inspirations, and that they do mean something to people, including me. But it also dredges up those feelings of being in the wrong just for liking them so much, and I always feel this bittersweet happy-guilt combo whenever I listen to this song. It's so, so beautiful.

I've got two, and both should be interesting. One would be Palladio, for violins. I'm a violinist. :) It's an awesome song, and most people recognize it by sound, if not by name. Second would be the song my band wrote and played at a summer all-girls rock camp. Not the best song, but for one week, I'm quite proud of it. Such a great experience. Also, even though she wasn't in my band, for some odd reason, it's how I met moshpitmurderr. And she is amazing. ♥

Okay, so this is kind of hard to tell and explain, but I'll do my best. You Guardian Angel, by The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus. Here's why: When I first learned about MCR, I got heavy into them. I was, for a period of about six months, one of those blind fans who hang off of every word and action without questioning it. I let them influence a lot of who I am today, my opinions, my styles, my inspirations. And then I happened onto a certain gossip site which pointed out to me all of their, and especially my idol, Gerard's, faults and wrongdoings. I was crushed. Not that they'd done that stuff, although that hurt, but that I'd let myself love such people so much. I stayed on that site for about a month and a half to two months, then left. It wasn't healthy; it was only making me hate myself. And then I saw this video. It reminded me why I loved them, and him, so much, and how they really did, if not save me, but change me. And it made me feel okay about it. It reminded me that just because they're not perfect, they're flawed and human, doesn't mean I can't love them still. So whenever I see this video, or even hear this song, it puts me back into that mindset again. Even though it makes me cry, it makes me feel so much better.

On Your Shore, by Charlotte Martin. Most people don't know or expect this, but I am a sucker for a beautiful female-vocalized ballad. I don't know why, but most male ballads I don't like, and most other times (besides pop music) I dislike female vocals. But in soft, sweet, strong ballads? I adore them.
