Mary, Mary: Song Snippet

I'm working on writing a song, and I have this little snippet stuck in my head (just lyrics, no melody — I can't come up with music). It's about how bands/actors/celebrities in general capitalize on the will to believe whatever pours out of their lips, and so they often build up a fake image. It's focused on how much it hurts to find out that they were potentially lying, but still loving them because of the chance that they weren't.
So this is probably the first verse:
Mary, Mary, quite contrary, how does your new band grow?
With silvertongue's eyes and pedestal lies and pretty boy's faces all in a row.
Mary, Mary, quite contrary, how does your new band grow?
With silvertongue's eyes and pedestal lies and pretty boy's faces all in a row.
And then for the chorus, I don't have it worked out fully yet, but I want to end it with:
And I can never love you the same way again —
Oh wait, I already do.
Opinions? Critiques? Help? I've only written one other song before, so anything will be majorly appreciated!
